Will Strafach has posted pictures of Cydia running on his iPad jailbroken by the “Spirit” Jailbreak by Comex.

There is still no word on when there will be a public release of this jailbreak and begging for it wont make it come out any faster so please bare with us and think before rushing in and asking for this jailbreak to be released

I know these pictures are very blurry and some could say photoshoped but if MuscleNerd posted a video of the jailbreak, you know it is legit!
I found this video on youtube and thought it would be interesting to show….
Even tho it mostly shows these guys beating the living night out of an iPad the every beginning shows what happens if you drop your iPad from chest height on to pavement with minimal damage.
Ok guys, after the fun and games followed by some needed sleep its time for my preliminary review of the iPad!
As you may know the live coverage on launch day was an utter failure thanks to the Barton Creek Mall, but I don’t fully understand the problem seeing as I was fully able to walk around with my 3GS without anyone complaining two days before the launch. I thank my local Best Buy for the chance to be able to use the iPad in action though!
Apple’s iPad:
This is simply the most amazing thing I have ever held in my hands. I use to be a NetBook user and the iPad is just more dominate in portability and in form than an average NetBook, even though a NetBook can run a full OS doesn’t make it better but it helps
Form:
The iPad form is incredibly sleek and light. For a portable device the sound quality is decent but the video quality was extraordinary! I was able to play RockBand extremely easy on the iPad, even though I missed close to ten notes in my video but hey I want to see you try to record yourself with one hand and play with the other!
Software:
The iPhoneOS running on the current versions of iPad is what the iPhone should have been. “No wrong way to hold it” is pretty much sums up how easy it is to operate the iPad. Since those anti-theft cables were hooked up to it I had to mostly use the iPad upside down. The only trouble I had was being unable to use iPhone apps in upsidedown portrait mode so I had to force those cables out of my way 
iPhone Apps:
For the skeptics out there, yes the iPad does a really good job at running current iPhone apps and it does have room for improvement. LEIMobile with Push looks sexy on the iPad as is so feel free to download that until we get our iPad version out
iPad Apps:
iWork for iPad is just WOW! I can’t describe how good of a job they did on remaking Pages, Keynote and Numbers. iBooks was a hit and miss for me but I’m sure it will grow on me when my 3G comes in.
Books:
I downloaded a few free books from the store onto one of the Best Buy and they could be more flashier but they were free so I don’t expect much in the looks department.
Well that covers my preliminary review on the iPad, we’ll write a more in depth review once we settle down and get our iPads to learn them inside and out. The rest is for your imagination to bring!

Ok guys as you may or may not know, LEI Mobile and HMP Mobile are going to be streaming live coverage of the iPad launch from the Apple Store in Barton Creek Square Mall, Austin Tx.
Now I figured that I should try to explain what to expect tomorrow morning. Brandon, thats me, will be waiting outside the Apple Store, because they wont let me in with a live video feed or pictures for that matter , and I will be interviewing people here and there as they are waiting in line and as they walk out with their new iPads. For those that accept the interview I will give them a Promo Card for SocialMe, our paid iTunes app, and I will also give them a Promo Card for a discount on a set of iBallz, sponsored by iBallz.info.
If you don’t know, iBallz are corner edge sock absorbers made specifically for iPad. if you drop your precious iPad it will just bounce instead of smashing to pieces.

Now let me get into the actual video. We are going to do our absolute best to keep the video live but it just depends on how busy the network connection is at the Apple Store. If the live stream begins to fail I am going to switch over to post streaming the video to maintain quality. What does this mean to you the viewer? It means that if you happen to miss the live feed or the feed gets messed up there will still be video of the event after the fact.
Now onto what you can do to help us. If you are waiting in line to get your iPad and even if you are getting your’s through UPS, SEND us a picture of you and your new iPad and Alan will take all the videos we get and make a video slideshow for viewing later on Saturday night when things have settled down.

Download the iPad 3.2 Restore IPSW now so you’ll be ready for any sudden restores you may have to do when you start learning how your iPad works. Also its just good to keep it already saved on your computer in case Apple stops seeding it from their servers
